CiCi and Chocolate Chip is the first book in a series about the dreamtime adventures of a girl named CiCi and a miniature, dappled dachshund named Chip. In this first installment the reader is introduced to CiCi, a little girl who wants a puppy. When CiCi shares her story with Mario, the baker, they make a dachshund cookie out of salty, chocolate chip cookie dough and name him Chocolate Chip. CiCi takes Chocolate Chip home and puts him by her bed. When CiCi falls asleep, Chip comes to her in her dreams as a real puppy. Subsequent installments will focus on CiCi's dreams of her adventures with Chip. Each dream will be a different adventure in a different location. Suitable for ages 3-5 and 6-8.
