I worked my way through college by waiting tables at restaurants and bars all over California. Once I begrudgingly graduated, I took a job as a staff writer at a daily newspaper back home in Los Angeles. I spent several years covering city hall, breaking news and community affairs, but found my perfect career as a food journalist. After several years of traveling and writing about food, I came home to LA and wrote my debut novel HEARTBREAK CAKE and followed it with two short stories, CHRISTMAS at MULBERRY INN and CAKE THERAPY. I am currently at work on my next novel and doing plenty of procastibaking, while at it. Learn more about me at: www.arorawrites.com
