BLURB, COVER & TITLE REVEAL TO FOLLOW ♡♡♡♡♡♡♡ Ex's brother College town Age gap ♡♡♡♡♡♡♡“It makes perfect sense, wildflower.” Her eyelashes flutter slightly as her teeth go after the inside of her cheek again. The dimple is back, and I realize that only the left side has it. When she worries the right, there isn’t one. “Why’d you call me that?” “Because I don’t know your name,” and I don’t ask it. It feels like the wrong thing. “Why that?” My chin dips down to the hem of her dress and her gaze follows. “Lupines—” I move my way up to her bicep. “Foxgloves. They both grow wild up here.” “You know your flowers.” She swallows heavily, her attention dropping to my mouth like she’s noticed mine the same way I’ve noticed hers. It’s the smallest action, but I can’t help fixating on how the column of her throat moves. How she parts her lips after, and the expression on her face as her eyelids slide half-mast. It’s microscopic—the moment, but it feels stretched, making my heart beat a little harder against my ribs. “I know yours.” (Unedited snippet)
