
Clementine Fraser lives in Aotearoa New Zealand with two wonderful teenagers and a giant doofus rescue dog. In her day job, she teaches teenagers to love history. She graduated with a Masters Degree in History and worked as a professional historian before she started teaching. Her love of history and social justice influence many aspects of her life and filter into her writing. An avid fantasy reader from childhood, it is worlds of magic and romance that capture her imagination and make it sing. Robin McKinley’s 'The Blue Sword' that fostered an early love of romantic fantasy, and more recent authors she is inspired by include Nalini Singh and Patricia Briggs. She writes romantic fantasy with lyrical description and strong characters, exploring the acceptance of self and the concept of choice, in a variety of immersive worlds and time periods.
