Husband, father, physician, author. The focus changes multiple times a day, and it's welcome. I was raised in the state of Washington, married my high school sweetheart, Liane, and had our first daughter at the tender age of twenty. Thirty years into our marriage and twenty years into my medical practice in the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology, life finally slowed down enough to pursue my previously-suppressed passion for self-expression through literature. I stand out because of the emphasis I place on character development and dialogue. Like so many other aficionados of well-written stories, I believe that true connoisseurs of meaningful literature should insist on well-written primary characters who provide entertainment to the readers while maintaining the attributes of realism and extraordinary, but not superhuman, humor and wit. Now that I've entered the arena of authorship and publication, my intention is to pursue the art of literature with an enthusiasm previously reserved only for that involving my roles as husband, father, and physician.
