
Anxiety, rage, guilt and fear are powerful motivating factors in one's life. They can drive us to new heights or fresh depravities, teach us how to love and what to hate. Humor lives inside of despair and courage comes only out of dread. But what of the space between? What about those liminal moments of brilliant ambiguity that seem to disappear once one has decided- or been shown- what to think? The answers to none of these questions can be found within. The author thought about answering them, but instead wrote a collection of bizarre, upsetting, and amusing short stories that he's calling Cognitive Dissonance.
