Lawrence Fox joined the RCAF in 1952 and was selected almost immediately as a candidate for dangerous espionage work because of his outstanding marksmanship. After four years of intensive but intermittent training, he undertook his first mission as an espionage courier into Budapest amid the 1956 revolution only hours after the Russians had moved 1000 tanks into the city to sustain their iron-fisted control of the country. Lawrence subsequently undertook four more missions - Prague, Poland (2), and Russia to retrieve information and escort important people out from behind the Iron Curtain. His work was Top Secret and greatly complicated his life. Nothing is left out of this true espionage thriller.
