About the Author Colleen McKeown was born in Belfast but moved to England aged nineteen to study at the Liverpool School of Art. It was here she began illustrating for children, which led her on to complete the Children's Book Illustration Masters at Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge. Under the Silvery Moon is her first book.
