Kiss of the Demon Girl

2018

Ruthless, foulmouthed, and sometimes drunk. That’s me on a good day. Just imagine what I’m like on a bad day. My name is Reika. I don’t know who I am anymore other than the following facts: I’m unlikeable. I used to be a member of the Yakuza. I think a succubus has a thing for me. The police shot me six times. After my discharge from the hospital I learned that I had the unique talent to control fire. That’s right, a modern day pyromancer. I have no idea where these powers came from, the doctor that worked on me upped and vanished, along with all records of me ever being admitted to the hospital. That’s when shady people from the shadows began to stalk me, some even had the balls to attack me. Don’t worry, I flambéed them all, I can take care of myself. What I am worried about are the people of New York City. Who’s going to defend them when my war with these shadow people reaches a boiling point? I don’t want to be a heroine. I just want my life back.

Wrath of the Demon Girl

2018

Paranormal private eye, vigilante, anti-heroine, and demon girl. That’s a four-in-one package. Shop around, you can’t find anyone else offering that! It’s been seven months since demons tried and failed to ravage New York City. The remains of their demonic faction are still around though, causing silly problems as a sign of protest and forging alliances with criminals. I deal with the small stuff the cops can’t be bothered with, like the disappearance of a young woman from the Russian community of Little Odessa. Demons are involved. The Russian Mafia doesn’t want me involved. People in the area don’t like me. But guess what? I’m the only one with the magical talents needed to bring this woman back home. Hopefully, I can live long enough to get paid. You don't mess with demons and the Mafia and expect to walk away. Ladies and gentlemen, this is Tuesday for me in a nutshell.

Awakening of the Demon Girl

2018

When you’re on the other side of the law and need demons taken care of. You don’t go to the cops. You go to New York City’s unfriendly neighborhood vigilante PI, with demonic magic . . . That's me in case you didn't know. The Yakuza and Russian Mafia have turned the streets of New York into a bloody war zone, while the demons that started the war work in the shadows to move forward with their plans. The Yakuza has made me an offer I can’t refuse. Help them solve the murder of one of their members. Imagine my surprise when every possible suspect is a demon, including the nine-tailed Kitsune, a shifter that will stop at nothing to prevent me from solving this case. And if I don’t solve this case quickly the Mafia wars will start claiming the lives of innocent people; starting with my family.

Deception of the Demon Girl

2019

The people of New York City are vanishing. And I have no idea why. At first, I thought it was the work of demons until a bunch of them ended up dead. Their attackers all used magical powers but weren’t demonic in origin. It goes against everything we knew about the paranormal world. There’s a new threat in town. They have magical powers and they aren’t demons. I need to find out who they are, what they’ve done with the missing people, and why they’re slaying demons. I need to go undercover and deceive them, and I need to do it fast before New York’s population goes to zero. The clock is ticking. This is going to be my most mind-boggling case yet. Could you imagine a city like this without people? Yeah, it’s creepy as hell, and I got to fix it.
