Part of Series
As a hunter in post-apocalyptic central Texas, Scratch Sullivan has survived zombies, vampires, rogue militia units - heck, he even killed a werewolf with nothing more than a spear and a bad attitude. But what's a man to do when the local werewolf pack destroys his town and abducts his best girl? If you're Scratch Sullivan, you get spittin' mad - and then you get retribution. Even if an army of the undead and an entire pack of 'thropes sits in your way. Now he's on a mission to wipe out the Corridor werewolves and get his girlfriend Kara back, and one thing's for sure... ...when he's done, those 'thropes are going to know they should never have messed with Scratch Sullivan. Because Scratch is going to put that wolf pack down like the rabid dogs they are - or he'll die trying. THEM: Counteraction is a paranormal take on SHTF, the end of the world as we know it novels (with zombies, vampires, and yes, werewolves) set in post-apocalyptic central Texas. Author

I write urban fantasy, paranormal suspense, and dark fantasy novels. My first series, THEM, is a jaunt through a post-apocalyptic central Texas where the dead walk, and vampires, werewolves and other unsavory creatures roam the night. It has elements of the zompoc genre, dark fantasy, and military survival fiction. My goal with this series was to give readers the same excitement I get from reading books by Larry Correia, Jonathan Maberry, and J.L. Bourne. On the other hand, my Colin McCool series falls squarely between urban fantasy and paranormal suspense. Colin's world is full of magic, mystery, and folklore come to life. I wrote this series because I love reading books by authors like Patricia Briggs, Kevin Hearne, Jim Butcher, and Neil Gaiman. And, like most authors, I try to write stories that I would enjoy reading. I currently live in the Hill Country near Austin, Texas, which is where much of my fiction is set. Most days you can find me in a local coffee shop or in my office working on my next book, or in my garage pummeling inanimate objects.
