Crayton Chief of Police Darren Lockhart hasn’t had the easiest time adjusting to his new role in life. Gone are his days with the FBI, the adrenaline of the hunt and his beloved tailored suits. It isn’t until a teenage boy goes missing that Lockhart once again finds himself at the scene of a mysterious disappearance and as a backup to the overly enthusiastic Duluth FBI Agent Caitlyn Rhodes. Lockhart will be torn between the position he once held for 20 years and the town he now protects while hunting a madman the likes of which neither could have ever dreamed of. From the streets of downtown Duluth, Minnesota all the way to the frigid Canadian border, Lockhart and Rhodes will need to bridge their personal conflicts if they ever hope to find a killer that has eluded capture for a lifetime.
