Gabriel stared at the huge creature laid out on the gurney. Though hopeful that the bombing of the massive collapsed cavern in the Amazon jungle was the end of the nightmare, in his heart he knew it wasn’t. Cataloguing the creature’s fearsome capabilities, Gabriel could only imagine what would happen if the creatures somehow made it to civilization. He had never seen anything this large that could move with such stealth and speed. Eyeing the serrated talons on its hands and feet and the mouth full of long, sharp teeth, he felt a tremor pass through him as he remembered the horror of seeing his elite team literally torn apart by these bastards. Now tasked to lead a joint mission with a U.S. Ranger unit to ensure that all the creatures had been destroyed, Gabriel has no idea that the creatures are the least of his worries. Soon, he, Mateus, Libby and Peter will be swept up in a fight that could impact the survival of humanity. After thousands of years, the monstrous aliens that spawned the creatures have awakened to act upon their ancient plans – plans that don’t bode well for mankind.
