After the encounter with the Valkyries, Jake tries to lead a normal life, and keep up appearances within the city. But at school he faces intimidation from Davilon, the son of powerful Vampire Victor. And with Lexus still absent, threats begin to present themselves one after the other, and Jake eventually finds himself in a heart breaking situation.
