There is one thing I know for sure … A reunion with my coven-leader ex-wife is a bad idea. It’s a shame I don’t get a say in the matter. I haven’t seen Loren in years … decades even, but here she is, begging for my help and I never could say no. A conflict is brewing. Ancient families vie for power as a matriarch’s life force dwindles and at least some of them are not going to play fair. To stop the war and save my ex-wife’s position will take all the skill I possess, not least because I’m going up against demons and they play for keeps. In the end though, the hardest part of this might just be dealing with my feelings for a woman I just never got over.
