I just want to live my life the way I want. I don’t need anyone trying to control me. I’m an adult, not a little kid anymore. I just wish everyone around me realized that. Getting a tattoo is the most rebellious thing I’ve ever done and I haven’t even done it yet. In fact, I'm terrified of getting it done, but it’s something I need to do for myself. I expect it to hurt and be uncomfortable. What I don’t expect is to have such a deep connection to the man who’s going to tattoo me. She’s nothing like my normal clients. She looks out of place and I love it. When she doesn’t like my initial design, I do something I never do. In the process, I spend more time with her than any other client. I find myself wanting to protect her from everything and put a big smile on her face. She’s the first person who’s made me want to protect them since my brothers in arms. Maybe she’s meant to be mine.
