Cynthia Baseman likes to try different things: children's books, YA, memoir and illustrated history. Writing has always been an important tool for her to understand the world. She wrote screenplays at the University of Southern California and she never looked back. A true Trojan and book nut, she serves on the USC Libraries Board of Councilors. She has taught writing labs to high school students has worked with young adults on outdoor skills and personal advancement. Throughout her career, she has sold stories to the networks and cable companies and garnered an Emmy nomination. Her memoir, 'Love Mom' has been included in Barbara Seaman's Women's Health Anthology, 'Voices of the Women's Health Movement.' She is married to Neal Baseman( aka Mr. UnHollywood) and is mother to two amazing humans. She lives with her husband and rescue dogs and birds.
