Isabella lives in Ioron, a fictional island off the coast of Canada. While the city is steeped in Christmas festivities, she comes home one day to find that her mother has adopted two rabbits. As they integrate into Isabella and her mother's lives, Isabella becomes increasingly convinced that something is not quite right with them. But will she be too late to find someone that believes her?
