For FBI rookie, Tristan Jacobs, finding a rhythm in life is proving challenging. After being assigned to the Art Crimes division in the Chicago office, he can't help but feel out of place. Mostly because Tristan doesn’t know a thing about art. Despite his efforts to make it work and much like his constantly single relationship status, it’s not panning out too well. Especially after leaving his badge at a hookup’s apartment…yikes. However, life seems to change when he meets a mysterious man at a gallery just before a priceless painting is stolen. Tall, handsome, mischievous, Alexander Diaz is everything Tristan wants and certainly an unneeded distraction from work. Yet, he can’t help but be suspicious. It doesn’t take Tristan long to find himself swept up, spiraling out of control, and lost as the two partake in something way more personal than a fling. He can’t figure out just who exactly is this angelic man. Worst of all, he can’t understand the sinking feeling that something far more sinister may be behind that charming smile.
