Danny Blitz is a single mom by choice. She began raising her daughter from a socially responsible perspective, even before her daughter was born. She did that by figuring out who she was, what she wanted, and successfully accomplishing a few important (to her) things in life before she had children. Danny began her career on Broadway; served on the steering committee for The 1993 March on Washington for Lesbian, Gay, and Bi Rights and Liberation; became a martial artist and private pilot; worked in the non-profit and corporate worlds; and then planted her main focus as a stay-at-home mom to raise her daughter. Now, as a social entrepreneur, Danny writes books and creates documentaries all centered around socially responsible parenting. "Much To Do Before A Dog" was Danny's first children's picture book in collaboration with her 17-year old daughter as the illustrator and co-author. Her next book will be a memoir about what she learned as a single mom by choice. Her first film will discuss socially responsible parenting.
