Born in 1984, Danny Gunn grew up in Melbourne, Victoria before moving to North-west Tasmania in 2016. He played representative football and cricket as a junior and loved reading Goosebumps and Spooksville (and still does). He is the author of the Tasmanian-based Van Diemen's Valley middle grade horror series, The Gambler's Luck, and The Pirate's Curse, the first in the Ethan Jackson Adventures. When not writing, Danny enjoys hiking, kayaking, scuba diving, and going on adventures. He considers himself a chocolate milk expert.
