Danny Rivera, a lifelong resident of New York City, received an MFA in Creative Writing from the City College of New York, and an M.Ed. from Brooklyn College. His poems and literary criticism have appeared in various literary journals in the United States and the United Kingdom, including Washington Square Review, Dislocate, The Lincoln Review, Huizache, Newtown Literary, and elsewhere. He currently lives in Brooklyn, New York, where he has been a high school English teacher for the last ten years.
