Darcy McInnis is a lifelong resident of Washington State. She grew up in Olympia, and currently lives in the Seattle area with her son, Gabriel, and their dog and cat. Darcy attended Central Washington University in Ellensburg, Washington, where she earned a BA in English literature. She has worked in nonprofit communications and marketing for more than twenty-three years. Being Josie is her first novel. She is currently at work on her second novel.
