I have lived overseas (Isfahan, Iran), worked as a firefighter/EMT (Denton, TX), raced motorcycles (in Iran!), and shot tournament pool (New Orleans). When the opportunity presents itself, I enjoy playing with swords (rapiers) and studying history. I’m a Katrina survivor but now live just north of New Orleans – north of the ‘mandatory evacuation zone.’ With that background, writing fantasy action adventure seemed like a natural step.
