Michael Moreci is a bestselling comics author and novelist. His original works include the space adventure novels Black Star Renegades and We Are Mayhem, as well as the comic series Wasted Space, The Plot, Hexagon, Curse, Archangel 8, and more. The Plot appeared on numerous best of 2019 lists, and Wasted Space has been hailed as one of the best comics of the past decade. Moreci's comic trilogy Roche Limit was called one of the best sci-fi comics of all-time by Paste Magazine, and Black Star Renegades was an Audie Award finalist for best sci-fi of 2018. Moreci has also written for Star Wars, Battlestar Galactica, and the DC universe—including the YA graphic novel The Lost Carnival: A Dick Grayson Story. He's also adapted Eoin Colfer's bestselling Artemis Fowl series into graphic novels. He lives outside Chicago with his family.


Daniel Kibblesmith is an Emmy-nominated TV writer and author from Oak Park, Illinois. He was most recently a Co-Executive producer for Netflix Animation’s Inside Job (2021) and a former staff-writer for The Late Show With Stephen Colbert (CBS, 2015 - 2020), as well as the writer of Celebrating Marvel’s Stan Lee (ABC, 2019) and a writer for the 69th Primetime Emmy Awards (2017). With illustrator, Ashley Quach, he is the author of the picture books Princess Dinosaur (LBYR, 2021) and Santa’s Husband (Harper Design, 2017). He is also the author of We Wish You a Harley Christmas: DC Holiday Carols (Chronicle Books, 2020) and the co-author of the humor book, How to Win at Everything (Chronicle Books, 2013). In comics, he’s written for characters like Spider-Man, Loki, Black Panther, Deadpool, Harley Quinn and others for Marvel, D.C. Comics, Valiant Comics, Archie, and Boom! Studios. With co-writer Eliot Rahal, and artist Kendall Goode, he is co-creator of the creator-owned comic, The Doorman. He was also a founding editor of ClickHole (2014), and has written humor for outlets like The New Yorker, McSweeneys, and The Onion News Network. Shea Fontana is a writer for film, television and graphic novels. Her credits include developing and writing the DC Super Hero Girls animated shorts, TV specials, movies and graphic novels; Polly Pocket (developed and story editor), Doc McStuffins, The 7D, Whisker Haven Tales with the Palace Pets (wrote show bible and first season), Dorothy and the Wizard of Oz (story editor), the new Muppet Babies series; two Disney on Ice shows where she wrote new material for the worlds of Mickey Mouse, Inside Out, Disney Princesses, Finding Dori, Frozen, and other Disney and Pixar properties; and the feature film, Crowning Jules. She has also written for top comic titles including Justice League, Wonder Woman, Batman: Overdrive (coming 2019), Catwoman/Looney Tunes, and contributed anthology pieces starring Deathstroke and Teen Titans. Her DC Super Hero Girls graphic novels have been New York Times Best Sellers. Her debut graphic novel, Finals Crisis, was honored with Diamond's 2016 Gem Award for Best All-Ages Graphic Novel, and DC Super Hero Girls: Past Times at Super Hero High won the 2017 Gem Award for Best All-Ages Graphic Novel as well as the Comixology Reader's Pick award for Best All-Ages Graphic Novel of 2017. DC Super Hero Girls won the 2018 Ringo Award for Best Kids Comic or Graphic Novel. She was listed 61st on Bleeding Cool’s Power List of Comics for 2018. The London Free Press declared her “not afraid to be corny,” which is an accurate assessment of her persona both on and off the page. She lives in sunny Los Angeles where she enjoys hiking, hanging out with her beagle, Ziggy, and changing her hair color. Using the secret identity “Shea Q. Off,” Shea played roller derby until her angry knees forced her into early retirement.
