When a psychic summerfest comes to Salem, the headline attraction features a demonologist from Tennyson Grimm’s past who claims he can cast evil spirits out of possessed people and cursed objects. Ten and the West Side Magick psychics are excited for the start of the Paranormal Phantasmagoria convention and the influx of new customers it will bring to town, but Ten knows there’s trouble brewing on the horizon. Just as the convention is about to begin, Detective Ronan O’Mara and the cold case team are warned that members of a highly controversial Christian megachurch, King of Deliverance, which doubles as homophobic hate group, are coming to Salem not only to protest against people with paranormal abilities, but the city’s large community of LGBTQIA+ families. Adding more trouble into the mix is the late addition of Agatha Louise, a famously possessed doll with a hefty body count under her belt. When the leader of the megachurch challenges the doll to do her worst, chaos ensues, and bodies hit the floor. The question is, are Ten and Ronan among the doll’s latest victims?
