Lena Morgan was expecting her senior year to be one she would remember for the rest of her life. That would be exactly what would happen, but not the way she would imagine. She would begin receiving letters addressed to her. At first she thinks it’s from her boyfriend, but quickly realizes it’s not. This person stalks and terrorizes her. Each letter she receives becomes more and more disturbing, and she will begin to question everyone in her life. Dear Lena is full of twists and turns. Keeping you on your toes as you read, trying to figure out who could be doing it. Everyone is a suspect, and seems to have their own reasons for doing it. Her life would get flipped upside down, and her choices would be questionable. All though this book is a work of fiction, the foundation of the story was inspired by the author’s life. A very tiny fraction of the author’s life is in this story, but unless you have been a victim of stalking yourself, one will never truly understand what it is like to constantly be looking over your shoulder. Or to look out your window, and wonder who the stranger is stalking you from the shadows.
