Hello stranger, my name is Tal, and I’m not an adventurer—those people are crazy. I’m just a sorcerer who is masquerading as a wizard. Oh, and I’m searching for answers about my parents’ mysterious deaths. Also monsters and other foes seem to show up wherever I go. …All right, I see it. My new traveling companions are seasoned adventurers and are teaching me their ways—or at least they were before something happened to Time. The same day is repeating itself over and over, and I’m the only one aware of the resets. If I ever want to get past this day—and the horrific hangover it always starts with—I’ll need to find a way out by myself. It turns out there are mysteries aplenty to unravel in this remote forest town of Crossroads, where I’m living the same day over and over. But my most vital resource might already be in my possession. My previously useless Spellbook is starting to exhibit some very strange abilities, and they could be just what I need in my quest to escape this temporal prison. This is my story. My diary of sorts. Don’t judge too harshly, I had a rough day.

Tal has found a doorway to an ancient pocket dimension in the woods, but the discovery has cost him dearly. Spellbook is lost somewhere inside, held by an unknown magical force. Should his Bond to the book fade, Tal fears he will lose all awareness of the time loop he’s trapped in, and any chance of escaping it. He must get Spellbook back before this happens, but the enchantments protecting the pocket dimension are formidable. Another threat is the presence Tal has detected hidden amidst the oblivious citizenry of Crossroads—someone else is aware of the loop. A foe who retains their memories is a serious problem, but Tal has no idea who it could be. He’s determined to draw the mysterious individual out of the shadows before they find him first. Tal can’t afford to let his magical and combat training fall by the wayside either. After all, new dangers are revealing themselves every reset—the behavior of the town’s rats is particularly disturbing. So a new instructor is called for, however brutal their methods may be…

Tal and Dagmar have won the day—though that’s cold comfort when the day keeps resetting. Still, they’ve gotten Spellbook back, beaten the golems to take possession of a powerful artifact that grants a refuge from the resets, and brought Tal’s friends inside so their memories won’t be lost every day. They have also discovered that to restore reality, the Primordial of Time must be contained...but they’ll have to find the creature first. And as the team searches, they begin to discover that the events which drew them together were not as random as they first seemed. A hidden hand is at work, and their actions in the resets may have ramifications for the whole continent. The time disturbance has trapped the world, but could also offer its salvation. Can Tal and his friends save themselves and stop more horrors from being unleashed on the world?
