Three women. Two lives. Persecuted by an abusive father and set up to marry an uncaring man, Yi Ling sees only one escape, and her job allows her the perfect opportunity. A genetic technician, she’s responsible for growing whole body donors for rich clients. Her own personal clone can lighten her load. Aspiring artist Ching Mei is slumming it as a bunny-eared show girl while trying to prove to her parents she doesn’t need their money. When she falls ill she realizes just how privileged she is, but also that sometimes wealth can’t save you. Nameless and friendless, Yi Ling’s clone must fight for her identity and freedom. Three entwined fates play out in the streets of Taipei. Someone has to lose.
