It’s been 300 years since we fled the destruction of Earth in the 24th century. Since that time we have been on the run from an alien race known as the Skrav. Our only hope is light years away hidden among the stars and the rest galaxy – a paradise hidden in a place called Eden. Deep Darkness is a first person account of the war with the Skrav from the point of view of a soldier named Sev. From his time as a child on the planet Errikus to events that will change the balance of the galaxy forever. Sev – A post-human descended from those that have survived the destruction of Earth lives aboard the starship Erebus. Sev along with the rest of his team must fight to survive as they are hunted by the Skrav and other evils on icy worlds and ancient orbitals. Sev has another gift. He is a 'user', one of the few humans capable of using the nexus - an ancient alien element that allows 'users' to see into the past and future through a strangers eyes. It is through the nexus he sees there is more going on than what meets the eye unraveling a conspiracy that has been ongoing since the early 21st century. Sev will soon be asking himself if this war is worth the lives that have been lost. In order to save the future Sev must confront the past, present, and future. Giant alien creatures, colossal space battles, ancient derelict starships, Deep Darkness is a space opera about the survival of humanity all wrapped in a character driven story-spanning over a thousand years.
