Della Stewart was raised in California and later moved to the Midwest to her parents hometown. Her mom was a stay at home mom while her father who served in the Korean War was a civil servant. Della enjoyed spiritual teachings from a very young age. She really enjoyed anything that inspired love and healing. When she was a young child, she wrote a short story that her parents thought was amazing, of course. But, they didn't pursue publishing. Later, she recalls a movie that she thought was inspired by her short story. That was the beginning of her creative spark, but life got in the way and she let it go for a time. It goes to show you just as in our spiritual life, if we don't nurture our gifts we may lose them. However, it is never too late to be born again. She was educated at Missouri State University and Evangel University in Missouri. Her husband, children, grandchildren, and family are her greatest inspirations and encompass most of her time. Della's chief source of inspiration comes from God. Della has also found encouragement from her Sunday school teacher and Pastors. She read a book titled 100 Bible Verses Everyone Should Know by Heart By: Robert J. Morgan which deeply touched her. It gave her pause to dig deeper into the scripture to find greater meaning. It included the scripture "For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he:..." (KJV) and she found a powerful message in this verse that she had never experienced before. Inspirational teachers, books, and shows like Deepak Chopra, Oprah and Super Soul Sunday motivated Della to write her book. She loved the enlightenment being taught, but she knew the Bible was the foundation that all these instructions were built on. She wanted to tie the life lessons being taught to scripture based instruction for the reader. "I believe the power of God's Word in our life is the greatest teacher of all." Della hopes her writing will ignite a spark in her readers to dig deeper into the word and find greater meaning. "I hope my writing inspires the readers to study for themselves the power that is found in the Bible." Della plans to continue writing as God directs her life. It has been an uplifting experience and hopes her readers can be uplifted and inspired to find the Bible as their source of instruction that will widen their path. II Timothy 3:16-17 "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works." (KJV) 2 Samuel 22:37 "You have made a wide path for my feet to keep them from slipping." (NLT)
