Dennis D. Skirvin was born in Wilmington, Delaware in 1947. He and his wife, Flossie, have three children and seven grandchildren. He is the award-winning author of Jubal’s Christmas Gift, The Treasure of Nonsense Woods and The George Washington Primer. Mr. Skirvin is a combat veteran of the Vietnam War and a Purple Heart Award recipient.
