Desirée A. Bombenon, born in Colombo, Sri Lanka, is a successful CEO and certified strategic leader. She is a member of the Young Presidents' Organization and has won several global industry and leadership awards. While engaged in several businesses, Desirée spends her time mentoring young people, contributing to several community and philanthropic projects, and traveling extensively. She serves on both business and nonprofit boards. Balanced by her husband, Marc, and two children, Janine and Joel, she lives on four acres just outside of Calgary, Canada. The Congregation is her second novel.
