Desislava grew up in the communist-ruled country of Bulgaria. From an early age, she enjoyed writing, reading, outdoor adventures, and the company of good friends. Desislava studied medicine in her hometown of Varna. Later in her life, Desislava moved to the USA following her family's dream. Now she lives in Florida, Tampa Bay with her family and a Bengal crossbreed cat named Cleo. Recently, Desislava rediscovered her passion for writing. She wrote and published her debut novel "The Porcelain Doll" and is currently working on her second book. Desislava reads many types of books. She likes fiction and biographies. She is not a fan of Dystopian, Fantasy Sci-Fi, or Horror books.
