Fort Worth writer Jonathan Shipley has never bought into "newer is better." Old houses, old furniture, and old portraits are his way of life, and like many collectors, he cohabits with more antiques than strictly fit into his house. He has had fantasy and science fiction stories published in Dragon Magazine, Marion Zimmer Bradley’s Fantasy Magazine, and dozens of recent anthologies. However, he is actually a novel writer at heart and spends most of his writing time on a vast story arc that ranges from Nazi occultism to vampires to futuristic space opera. Several principal characters in this created world are also collectors of portraits, so there is a mirroring back and forth between art and reality throughout the story arc.

B. Morris Allen is a biochemist turned activist turned lawyer turned foreign aid consultant, and frequently wonders whether it's time for a new career. He's been traveling since birth, and has lived on five continents. When he can, he makes his home on the Oregon coast. In between journeys, he edits Metaphorosis magazine, and works on his own speculative stories of love and disaster. His dark fantasy novel Susurrus came out in 2017.

Cameron Trost is an author of mystery, suspense, post-apocalyptic, and horror fiction best known for his puzzles featuring Oscar Tremont, Investigator of the Strange and Inexplicable. He has written three novels, Flicker, The Tunnel Runner, and Letterbox, and three collections, Oscar Tremont, Investigator of the Strange and Inexplicable, Hoffman's Creeper and Other Disturbing Tales, and The Animal Inside. He runs the independent press, Black Beacon Books, and is a lifetime member of the Australian Crime Writers Association. Originally from Brisbane, Australia, Cameron lives with his wife and two sons in southern Brittany, between the rugged coast and treacherous marshlands. Tom English is an environmental chemist who writes strange tales of the supernatural in his spare time. His fiction appears in several anthologies, including Haunted House Short Stories, Detective Thrillers Short Stories, Gaslight Arcanum (an anthology of supernatural Sherlock Holmes stories), and Challenger Unbound, as well as issues of Weirdbook, Black Infinity, and All Hallows (The Journal of the Ghost Story Society). His first story “Lightning Rod” was selected to appear in Horror: The Best of the Year, 2008 (Wildside Press, 2009). Tom’s nonfiction books include Diet for Dreamers, Angel in the Kitchen, and The Heart of an Angel, both written with his wife, Wilma. He also edited Bound for Evil, a 2008 Shirley Jackson Award finalist for best anthology, featuring stories about strange, often deadly books. Tom resides with Wilma, surrounded by books and beasts, deep in the woods of New Kent, VA.
