For many years, the Schumacher Brüder, ran the growing city of Stuttgart, Germany. The bootleg booze business began with my father, Bruno Sr, back in 1925, during the prohibition and he made it the successful business it was today, twenty years later, in 1945. Yet, our business was scrutinized and considered criminal activity, according to the interpol and Scotland Yard. Our family and the activities of our exportation of illegal goods was becoming more noticed on a wider scale across Europe. I learned all too quickly that I couldn’t pay any of them off and decided to hide, along with my brothers, Johannes, Wilhelm, and Stefan in Berne, Switzerland. We were safe and secluded, or so we thought, until a gorgeous dame by the name of Petra Becker, aka, Margaret Hastings, entered our lives. I wanted her more than anything and she was willing to give me anything, including who she truly was. Was Petra Becker a goddess who wanted to make our wildest dreams come true?
