Devin Farmer was born and raised in the Panhandle of Florida. Before she started writing poetry and short fiction, she experimented with various occupations: hardwood floor manufacturer, deli clerk, paint distributor, correctional officer… But her favorite job is the one she is now doing full time—writing about her experiences from working with criminal offenders to losing a battle to poison ivy (multiple times) to wrangling yellow jackets. If she isn’t spending time with her family, you can almost always find her with a book in hand.
