Hello GoodReads! I'm Diamond Drake, the author of Imagined Love, For the Love of Jade (the sequel and 2013 International Book Award WINNER!), and Love's Fool (2012 Editor's Choice). Ever since the first grade I dreamed of seeing my name on the back of a book. To be able to see that dream become a reality has been a huge blessing and I'm SO grateful. The best part of this experience has been connecting with readers and knowing that they're able to feel the same emotions I felt when I wrote, as they read. I was born and raised in Gary, IN, but I now reside in Stockton, CA with my wonderful husband of seventeen years, my two teenage daughters, and my two German Shepherds. A few weird facts . . . I always write the end of my books first and work my way to the beginning. For some strange reason I write better when Coraline is playing in the background.
