Dimitra Doumpioti is an accredited trainer and supervisor in psychotherapy, and an academic collaborator at ESADE Business School of Barcelona. She obtained her BSc (Honors) in Psychology from the University of Manchester and continued as a research assistant at the Department of Developmental Psychology of the same university, in conjunction with the Max Planck Institute (Leipzig, Germany). At the same time, she completed postgraduate studies in Transpersonal Psychology at Liverpool’s John Moores University. She relocated to Spain in 2000 and obtained an MA in Systemic Relational Therapy from UAB (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona). In 2005 she founded Hestía, an international psychotherapy center and licensed systemic-relational therapy school.
