I am a science graduate; my post-graduation is in English literature, my special papers being American literature. My Ph.D is in Linguistics, though. To be specific, it is ELT—-English Language Teaching. I've done language courses at CIEFL, Hyderabad, one of the best in Asia. I 's a small time pupil with Writers Bureau, England. I've taught English language and literature to graduation and post-graduation students for over three decades and written plays, short stories and humour pieces in my MT. One volume of translation into English from Oriya, a poem in Asian Age and an article in Times of India constitute my apprenticeship in writing English before launching into fiction writing. Though I worked on two fictions at a time, my first work—Rage in the Jungle, Raj on the Street—has just come out.
