Although still a very young man, Dr. Juan M. Flavier is an international authority on community development. he is vice president, responsible for training and the health department of the International Institute of Rural Reconstruction, Silang, Davite. He also serves as a consultant to one private and three governmental bodies: the Philippine Rural Reconstruction Movement; the Presidential Arm on Community Development; the Department of Social Welfare and the Technical Committee on Community Development of the Philippine Senate.
