Don Kennedy is a resident of Makaha Valley on Oahu, Hawaii. He was a long time Nevada resident: Las Vegas, Reno and Lake Tahoe. He was born and raised in Wisconsin and is a graduate of Concordia College. He's a member of the Hawaii Writers Guild. His career includes the radio, TV and publication world for a decade. For 35 years he was a Marketing Executive in the hospitality/gaming industry. He’s lived and worked in 9 states: Wisconsin, Hawaii, Nevada, Oregon, California, New Mexico, Indiana, Louisiana and Oklahoma. He loves to read and travel especially anywhere with lakes and oceans. He’s the proud uncle of 2 nieces, a nephew, a great niece, great nephew and has an older brother. His passion the last 25 years has been serving as a volunteer Santa Claus for all those who needed him and “giving back.”. This included: hospitals, military bases, community centers, women's and children's shelters, churches, schools, Boy's & Girls Clubs and more.
