
After graduating college in 1995 with a strong literary background and a creative writing degree, Donna Cook discovered fantasy in 2002 when the popularity of the Harry Potter books was too much for her to ignore. She fell in love with the whimsy and adventure of the genre. Her award-winning debut, Gift of the Phoenix, released in 2012. A related novella, Nashua's Choice released in April 2013. Her latest novel, The Lost Branch released November 2015. She's an Arizona native transplanted to Boise, Idaho. When she's not writing she spends her time chasing the kids, exploring delicious eateries downtown, and dancing with her talented husband.
