Donna Hill is a lifelong film afficionado with a particular affection for films of the silent era. She has collected film memorabilia with regard to Rudolph Valentino for over thirty years. A portion of this collection of rare photos is shared in her first book, Rudolph Valentino The Silent Idol, His Life in Photographs. She is currently researching her second book: A biography of silent film and Broadway star Dorothy Gish. The author toils by day in the field of intellectual property. She lives in San Francisco and is owned by a wonderful cat named Tango.
