Donna Salli is a fiction writer, poet, essayist, and playwright. She was born and raised in Michigan, along the shores of Lake Superior, and holds an MFA in Poetry from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. She taught college-level English for 24 years. In 2000, she received a Mentor Series Award in Poetry from the Loft Literary Center in Minneapolis, MN. In 2012, she was invited to the Great Plains Theatre Conference, where her play "The Rock Farm" received a staged reading and panel critique as part of PlayLab.
