When a local judge is shot to death right outside Cup of Jo, Joanna Coffee can’t avoid getting involved in the case. Especially since the judge was still holding the doppio he’d bought from Jo. But finding anyone in Bennett Falls who didn’t hate Judge Masters isn’t easy. The town is filled with unhappy people who fell on the wrong side of Masters’s judgements. Even doppios might not be strong enough to fuel Jo through this investigation. Will this be the case that proves too difficult for the amateur sleuth?
