Dragon Waves

2018

When Audrey catches her fiancé kissing his assistant right before their wedding, her whole life is turned upside down. Determined to start over, and figure out what she really wants for herself, she sets out on their honeymoon to Dragon Island Hideaway Resort with her best friend. The cute resort manager, Hayden, seems like just the thing to help her get over her heartbreak, but when she touches him, it ignites a flame in both of them. Dragon shifter Hayrian has no intention of getting involved in a relationship, especially not right now. If his clan’s risk of exposure, and his responsibility to run his parent’s resort in their absence, weren’t enough, he knows that he couldn’t tell a potential mate who he really is. He hadn’t counted on meeting Audrey. He wants to break through her calm and collected exterior, and help her realise that some men can be trusted. But with his parents away, and the resort seemingly falling apart around him, can he find time to convince her he’s different? Dragon Waves is book 2 in the new Dragon Island Hideaway series.

Two overprotective dragon shifter brothers. One overprotective human one. It's a wonder Morian is allowed to breathe on her own. Not only that, but she's different. Her power as a life dragon to influence and heal is rare and valued among her kind. Keeping her safe is all her parents want. But when they send her home, they put her in more danger than what she left. Undercover police officer Finn Harley has problems of his own. After coming face to face with a dragon in his human form, he's acquired a phobia of the scaly creatures. At least his investigation only involves following a young woman seen leaving the dragon lair to find out what she may be hiding. He's at no risk of encountering another dragon. Or, so he hopes. But on this tropical island resort, nothing is as it seems. As Finn and Morian are drawn together, everyone and everything seems determined to pull them apart. Even if they can get her brothers to back off, can Finn overcome his phobia when he finds out he's in love with a dragon?

Mermaid Dreams

2019

Having lived with dragon shifters, Rowan's expectations for love are higher than other humans, and at thirty-eight, he’s beginning to suspect he’s never going to find anyone who can live up to them. Maybe that's why he ends up chasing a mermaid near his parent's island resort—and catching her. Or rather, she catches him. Mermaid princess Cari has no interest in finding her mate and becoming who she is meant to be. She likes who she is now. That could be why she’s more fascinated by the human man she watches on the island than one of her own kind. But when she finds herself stuck in the human world, she faces an impossible choice. Would she rather mate the person she loves, or return to her life below the waves? Mermaid Dreams is book 4 in the Dragon Island Hideaway series.

Rinelle Grey is no stranger to alternate lifestyles. She grew up in a variety of different homes, including a riverside shack with no electricity or running water, and even a tent. She and her sister spent their childhood chasing goats, climbing trees, eating peas and corn out of their mother’s vegetable garden, and occasionally rushing to get their correspondence school work in on time. Despite the difficulties of this lifestyle, she wouldn’t swap it for all the luxuries in the world (though she is rather fond of her running hot water and indoor plumbing now!) She met her husband in ‘Family Therapy’, an elective they were both taking as part of their psychology degrees. It took several years for them to get together, in fact, their roleplaying characters got together before they did! They married on the beach at sunrise in 2002, two months after Rinelle popped the question. Although she had always loved to write, it wasn’t until her daughter was about eighteen months old that Rinelle started writing seriously. Probably not the best stage in terms of having spare time! And time only became scarcer when her daughter gave up her day sleep six months later. But by then, Rinelle had well and truly caught the writing bug, finding time somehow to continue with her passion. Her fast typing speed learnt from spending way too much time chatting on IRC, and the investment in an iPad when they came out, helped immensely. Rinelle now lives on acreage with her husband and homeschooled daughter. In her spare time, she sells stock photography through an online site to support her family, and is hoping that writing will be able to add to that. She loves to receive e-mails at rinelle@rinellegrey.com, or follow her on facebook or twitter.
