Drew Rhys is the author of Wire City Kills, and the recently released novella, Omega Substance - both are standalone stories set in the same Wire City universe. His Wire City series of sci-fi mystery thrillers is set in an alternate retro present still clinging to the 20th century, and a Silicon Valley where exotic tech is commonplace and egomaniacal CEOs lead country-sized megacorporations and vie for control of a hyper-capitalist yet all too familiar vision of America. Drew's fascinations include (in no particular order) ’90s and early ’00s internet culture, procedural genre TV shows, video gaming, capitalism and the extent to which we are all complicit in its extraordinary prominence within modern society, and food. He lives with his family atop the windiest hill in North Yorkshire.
