Colin McCool has outwitted necromancers, sorcerers, fae assassins, and evil demigods… but can this journeyman druid survive a face-to-face fight with a god? It’s me again—your friendly neighborhood druid, pissing people off everywhere I go in the supernatural world. After killing a psychotic demigod, I just wanted to retreat to my beloved junkyard in peace. Unfortunately, the Celtic gods are bringing the fight to my doorstep—whether I like it, or not. Now Austin’s fae queen has banished me from her demesne, forcing me into hiding. To complicate matters, I’ve also been tasked with hunting down an ancient vampire who’s terrorizing the people of New Orleans. Um, okay boomers—I’m game. Question is, can I evade the Tuatha Dé Danann, all while bringing a dangerous master vampire to heel? And if worse comes to worst, can I survive a direct confrontation with a god? "I was afraid that The Junkyard Druid was going to be another cheap Harry Dresden knockoff, but boy am I glad to be so wrong. It's hard to put into words why I enjoy this series so much. Maybe it's the humanity or the author's willingness to take on very real subjects like sex trafficking. I don't know. Whatever the reason, I'm hooked on the series." ~Matt S. "I absolutely loved these books from the 1st sentence of the beginning of book one, to the last period... Great writing. On your seat throughout each chapter. Addictive. Never want to put the book down. And you think of it when not reading. Thank you for writing these amazing books for us humans to read!" ~Laurie H. "In a genre that has become saturated by new authors, I never have a doubt about Michael’s books. They’re always exciting and give me hours of entertainment. I write urban fantasy, paranormal suspense, and dark fantasy novels. My first series, THEM, is a jaunt through a post-apocalyptic central Texas where the dead walk, and vampires, werewolves and other unsavory creatures roam the night. It has elements of the zompoc genre, dark fantasy, and military survival fiction. My goal with this series was to give readers the same excitement I get from reading books by Larry Correia, Jonathan Maberry, and J.L. Bourne. On the other hand, my Colin McCool series falls squarely between urban fantasy and paranormal suspense. Colin's world is full of magic, mystery, and folklore come to life. I wrote this series because I love reading books by authors like Patricia Briggs, Kevin Hearne, Jim Butcher, and Neil Gaiman. And, like most authors, I try to write stories that I would enjoy reading. I currently live in the Hill Country near Austin, Texas, which is where much of my fiction is set. Most days you can find me in a local coffee shop or in my office working on my next book, or in my garage pummeling inanimate objects.
