American Lease
2015
While walking on the path through the disbanded town of Monson, New Hampshire, Dylan Cold and his dog Montana come across a dead cop—and his killer. Forced, at gunpoint, to help the killer, Dylan is drawn into the search for an historic document that will give the holder legal ownership of the land covered by the original Thirteen Colonies of the United States. In 1775 King George was desperate to avoid an expensive war with the colonies. The King of England agreed to a unique arrangement, lease the United Kingdoms American territories to the continental congress. As compensation the Americans, through Ben Franklin, agreed to pay export taxes and offer the United Kingdom steep discounts and rights of first refusal on their extensive supply of natural resources. Dylan Cold doesn’t know much about history or the defunct Southern New Hampshire town of Monson where he walks his dog. After coming across a slain police officer and his wounded killer he needs to learn fast. With help from Abbey Holt a local farmer and history scholar he needs to find the lease and stay one step ahead of the men who would stop at nothing to possess the document.

Harbinger Hawk
2016
Dylan Cold has worked his way into a job with the Brookford police department. The slow pace of being a rookie cop in a small town has him looking for a way to stand out. After responding to a routine car accident he makes a gruesome discovery, a dead baby, but no one steps forward to claim it. During the autopsy the medical examiner discovers a memory chip embedded under the babies skin and the pictures it contains are horrific, abuse of the worst kind. The implications shake the entire station to its core, but with no leads they are left waiting anxiously for a break. Dylan’s obsession with the baby and the girls from the pictures leads him to a theory about a hawk and a suspension from the force. After his instincts prove correct, neither Dylan nor the small town he calls home will ever be the same.

Exotic Husbandry
2016
It feels like the rich are taking advantage of everyone, and Brookford is not the farm town it used to be. A severed foot and an exotic animal force Dylan Cold to reconsider leaving to join the FBI and reach closure with Abbey Holt. When a severed human foot is discovered by two boys Dylan knows the town needs him for one more case. After he meets Demetria Stoyovich, a mysterious Marquise from Moldova, and is forced to kill an out of place jaguar he thinks the severed foot case will be easily closed. During dissection the medical examiner finds that the jaguar is pregnant, with sabertooth tiger cubs. There is no link between the big cat and the foot, but he soon finds himself chasing ligers, zebra's and an alligator through the orchards, woods, and ponds of Brookford. At every turn Abbey is there to help until Dylan realizes that he doesn't need to look beyond Brookford for answers.

Frayed Shorts
2018
Dylan Cold left the Brookford police department to join Abbey full time at Turkey Run Farm. It is a quiet, happy life but he can’t stop finding trouble. After interrupting an early morning break-in at his friend Betty’s house, Dylan is thrust back into the world of killers and criminals. Betty’s vacation to the Caribbean was cover for helping her nephew Luke who swindled millions of dollars from a terrorist cell and the wall street bankers laundering money for them. After Dylan gives his word to keep Luke safe he and Abbey are forced to go on the run until they can turn the tables, with a little help from FBI Agent Nick Brinson.
