I live cheerfully alone in the English Midlands though I like to visit London to attend Art and Museum exhibitions and the likes. After earning a living in a variety of pastimes (I hesitate to use the word career as it implies some level of success and progression) and spending most of my free time part-time studying for personal pleasure, I have now settled comfortably into following my childhood ambition of writing (and reading, I read almost anything I come across, newspapers, fantasy, super hero graphic novels). My books to date tend to be humorous fantasy, although I have written a brief memoir of my young days as a merchant navy cadet under my real name, Denis Scott.
